Your responsibilities at Stantec

  • Monitor and manage project expenditures;
  • Oversee project scope and deliverables;
  • Collaborate with project managers and administrators on project breakdown and coding;
  • Gather essential cost control data, completion estimates, and project updates;
  • Identify, assess, and document changes in project scope;
  • Evaluate cost forecasts in conjunction with project managers;
  • Generate reports and visual representations of project progress;
  • Develop schedules tailored to design and construction using Critical Path Methodology (CPM);
  • Create and maintain timelines for clients, project managers, and teams involved in construction and design;
  • Work with project managers to establish short-term schedules and monitor their effects on the overall timeline, assisting in the development of corrective measures;
  • Participate in meetings as required;

Your qualifications

Your application will be particularly compelling if you possess the following skills and experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering project or construction setting;
  • Relevant experience positively contributing to multidisciplinary design, procurement, and project management teams;
  • Capability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines;
  • Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written;
  • Self-motivated, independent, and adept at multitasking;
  • Exceptional organizational and planning abilities;
  • Strong aptitude for building trusted relationships with stakeholders;
  • Proficient in software tools: Excel, Primavera, MS Office, MS Project, Adobe;
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and adaptability skills;
  • Possess a degree or certification in finance, project management techniques, or project management;
  • A degree in civil, structural, electrical, or mechanical engineering is an asset;
  • A degree or certification in a Project Management Certified Program is advantageous;
