Job Title: Beneficiary Caregiver

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Beneficiary Caregiver to join our team at Le Havre de l'estuaire, a friendly seniors' residence located in Rimouski. As a Beneficiary Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Job Summary

As a Beneficiary Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting and accompanying residents in getting around, reporting any noticeable changes in their mental or physical health to the on-call nurse, and contributing to the adjustment of their action plan based on your observations. You will also be expected to proactively assist and support the residents, adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies, and respond to all emergency situations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
  • Report any noticeable changes in a resident's mental or physical health to the on-call nurse
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a resident's action plan based on your observations
  • Proactively assist and support the residents
  • Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
  • Respond to all emergency situations
Requirements
  • PDSB training
  • Up-to-date CPR/AED training certificates
