Position Overview

As a Rehabilitation Support Specialist at DEV WELLNESS & REHAB CLINIC, you will play a crucial role in assisting our physiotherapy team in delivering high-quality care to patients. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of College/CEGEP program
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a related field
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer assessments utilizing specialized equipment, guide patients through testing protocols, document outcomes, and ensure the proper functioning of auditory devices.
  • Implement rehabilitation plans under the supervision of licensed physiotherapists and occupational therapists to support patients recovering from injuries or disabilities.
  • Evaluate adult patients to identify hearing impairments, suggest appropriate hearing aids, take earmold impressions, and conduct follow-up assessments and adjustments.
  • Assist in positioning patients for treatments administered by chiropractors or therapeutic machines.
  • Engage in research activities related to physiotherapy practices.
  • Maintain detailed records of patient rehabilitation progress.
  • Coordinate and confirm patient appointments efficiently.
  • Gather comprehensive medical and ophthalmic histories from patients.
