Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Circle K. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing store operations, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
  • Help to maintain a clean and safe store environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with hiring, training, and developing staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including inventory management and cash handling.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions to drive business growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to standards.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
