Job Title: Nurse Practitioner at CSTU
Company Overview: CSTU is dedicated to delivering extensive health and social services to the Inuit populations in the northern regions.
Position Overview:
- Full-time temporary role with specified hours/week
- Direct report to: Nursing Assistant Director
- Commencement: As soon as feasible
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing health requirements, aiding in diagnostic processes, and delivering necessary nursing care in accordance with CSTU protocols
- Participating in various community health programs including child monitoring, vaccinations, and school health initiatives
- Providing emergency on-call services and participating in shift rotations within community health services
Required Qualifications:
- Registered member of the O.I.I.Q.
- Completion of Advanced Role training
- Experience in emergency and critical care is beneficial
- Bilingual in French and English; knowledge of Inuktitut is a plus
- Capability to operate in remote settings and within multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability
Compensation:
Minimum: $ / week
Maximum: $ / week
Additional benefits include isolation premium, high cost of living premium, and retention bonus.
Annual travel and accommodation support are provided for employees stationed more than 50 kilometers from their designated work area.
