Job Title: CUPE 1571 - Permanent Licensed Maintenance Worker - HVAC

York Catholic District School Board is seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Maintenance Worker - HVAC to join our team.

Job Summary:

Under the regular direction of the Maintenance Coordinator, the Licensed Maintenance Worker - HVAC will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Assist in the installation and testing of new HVAC equipment.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure seamless operation of facilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A valid Ontario license to work as a maintenance worker.
  • Experience working with HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
