POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Quality Control Specialist at Signet Jewelers Limited, your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough evaluations of exquisite jewelry pieces to confirm compliance with established SKU standards. This role encompasses overseeing the documentation of Quality Control metrics and managing paperwork associated with product returns. Effective collaboration with the service team is essential to address customer inquiries and needs efficiently. A robust understanding of gemology and experience with precious materials are critical for success in this position.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assess diamonds, gemstones, and completed jewelry for quality assurance.
  • Accurately document and interpret gemological data.
  • Promptly communicate any inconsistencies found in orders.
  • Collaborate closely with the service team to fulfill customer expectations.
  • Employ advanced gemological testing instruments for research initiatives as required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate Gemologist with GIA Credentials is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of jewelry production and gemstones.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Experience with high-quality metals and gemological equipment.
  • Capability to evaluate jewelry quality with precision.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to work.

Prior experience in the inspection of gemstones and jewelry is highly regarded. Proficiency in utilizing gemological tools such as loupes and microscopes is essential for this role.
