About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Lion Flooring Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Install carpeting, hardwood floors, and other floor coverings
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Installation Specialties
  • Vinyl or resilient tiles
  • Ceramic tiles
  • Marble tiles
  • Terrazzo tiles
  • Hardwood strip flooring
  • Hardwood intricate patterns flooring
  • Parquet flooring
  • Linoleum
  • Modular carpet tiles
  • Carpets/rugs
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physically demanding
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
