Joseph Brant Hospital is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team in Burlington, Ontario. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) procedures, including post-processing, and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform CT procedures, including post-processing, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CT technology and its applications
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
- Formal radiological technology training with an approved school of radiography
- Recent post-graduate experience in performing CT procedures, including post-processing
- Active registration with the Canadian Medical and Biological Engineering Society (CMBES)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
