About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team at S. J. Lawrence Architect Inc. as a key member of our design and development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT, to support architectural design and development.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and analyze technical documents and reports, including working drawings and presentation graphics, to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement design solutions, and effectively communicate technical information to clients and team members.
  • Project Management: Assist in design development, including creating and managing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
