Job Title: Relief Bus Driver

We are seeking a qualified Relief Bus Driver to join our team at School District No. 58 (Nicola-Similkameen). As a Relief Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, as well as providing support to our regular bus drivers as needed.

About the Role:
  • Drive a school bus safely and efficiently to transport students to and from school
  • Provide support to regular bus drivers as needed, including covering absences and providing relief during peak periods
  • Ensure the bus is clean and well-maintained, and report any issues to the transportation department
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and safe transportation experience
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 2 with air or higher Driver's License
  • Current driver's abstract
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
