Job Title: School Bus Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced School Bus Driver to join our team at Lower Nicola Indian Band. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring their well-being and safety throughout the journey.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the bus is clean and well-maintained, performing regular checks on the vehicle's condition.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff, providing excellent customer service.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other transportation staff to ensure seamless operations and efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
  • Class 2/2F/C Licence (buses with more than passengers)
  • School Bus Endorsement
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
