About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train a team of 5-10 employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees to help them improve their performance.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Manage the inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to operate efficiently.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for food and other supplies.
    • Implement operational procedures to ensure that our restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that our customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure that our financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
    • Cost products and services to ensure that we are operating within our budget.
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our restaurant and increase sales.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
    • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to stand for extended periods of time. The candidate must also be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
