About the Role

Dr. Oetker Canada Ltd is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our production team in London, Ontario. As a Millwright, you will play a critical role in maintaining the mechanical and electrical systems of our state-of-the-art pizza production facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, including HVAC systems, to ensure optimal facility performance.
  • Build, install, and break down equipment as needed to support production operations.
  • Develop and implement reliability strategies and preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of PLC systems for automated custom-built machines.
  • Participate in the HACCP food safety system to identify and control hazards in the food production process.
  • Ensure compliance with Dr. Oetker's Health & Safety and Food Safety & Security policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Interprovincial licensed Millwright (433A)
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance/Industrial Electrician in the food or pharmaceutical industry (preferable)
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to maintain facility at optimal levels
  • Experience with PLC, robotic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (Siemens S7 preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight schedules and timelines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads (up to 25 KG) and work in a standing environment
  • Availability to work rotating 12-hour shifts on four-week cycles
