Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at North Country BBQ & Cocktail Bar. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient service
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Prepare and submit reports on food quality and inventory
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
    • Ensure that customer needs are met and exceeded
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and labor costs
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, and wastage
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with high volume of customers
    • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure efficient service
  • Physical Demands
    • Standing for extended periods
