About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and food preparers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Preparation and Quality Control
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Environment and Physical Capabilities
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
    • Standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Client focus and flexibility.
    • Team player with excellent communication skills.
Language and Work Schedule
  • Language
    • English is the primary language of communication in this role.
