Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Vitalité Health Network. As a key member of our respiratory therapy department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and technical respiratory therapy services to patients with respiratory problems.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients, their loved ones, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct assessments, administer treatments, and monitor patient progress.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory therapy techniques and best practices.
Requirements
  • Valid license (active member) of the New Brunswick Association of Respiratory Therapists.
  • BLS (basic life support) certification and maintenance of this certification.
  • Successful completion of training on chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases by set deadline.
  • Proven skills in communication and interpersonal relations with the care team.
  • Ability to function in a changing work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Physical ability to perform assigned duties.
  • Good previous work history (performance and attendance).
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values.
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
