Armira Developments Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Flatbed to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a flatbed truck to transport goods across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and safety of cargo.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information, ensuring efficient route planning.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and securing it properly.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • International, local, long-haul, national, and provincial/territorial transportation experience.
  • Valid passport and basic security clearance.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and medical exam.
