Job Title: Truck Driver - Flatbed

Armira Developments Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Flatbed to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mountain Driving Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in driving on mountainous terrain, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Professionalism in Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and courteous delivery of goods.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods, adhering to company procedures and regulations.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to company protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and any other required certifications.
  • Documentation Knowledge: Familiarity with bill of lading, driver logbook, inspection report, and trip reports.
  • Transportation Experience: Proven experience in international, local, long-haul, national, and provincial/territorial transportation.
  • Security and Safety: Possess a valid passport, basic security clearance, and a clean driving record.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 to 48 hours per week
