We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Supervisor to join our dynamic Team Green Environmental Remediation/Construction group. As a Field Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact on-site for all assigned projects, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with team members and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement effective safety protocols, conducting regular hazard assessments and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and execute work plans, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Supervise daily activities, providing guidance and support to team members to ensure project targets are met.
  • Assist with estimating project costs, developing and executing work plans, and participating in the investigation and development of corrective actions.
  • Ensure on-site operations are conducted in accordance with corporate policies and procedures, within permit conditions, and to customer specifications.
  • Participate in the development of Safe Work Procedures (SWP's) and assist with the implementation of new procedures.
  • Assist with project planning and scheduling under the guidance of the manager.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in a Technical field is an asset.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years in a supervisory role is an asset.
  • Previous experience working in an industrial setting, project management, and estimating.
  • Previous experience with waste disposal and/or environmental remediation, on-site water treatment, civil construction, and demolition, or other similar work scope, is considered an asset.
  • Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Project, are an asset.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and work with strict deadlines.
  • Must be flexible and able to easily adapt to changing priorities with an ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to anticipate, investigate, research, and analyze challenging and unique problems, and to resolve or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
  • Overnight travel as required.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
