Canada Goose Holdings Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Quality Assurance to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance strategies that meet our business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Lead and manage quality assurance teams to ensure effective implementation of quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide leadership and guidance to quality assurance teams to ensure they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
- 15+ years of quality assurance experience in the apparel manufacturing industry.
- Post-secondary degree in fashion, pattern making, or textile technology.
- Quality assurance experience in the textile industry is a must.
- Technical outerwear knowledge and hands-on production experience are required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to build relationships across the business.
- Able to develop, review, and maintain metrics and quality audits.
- Strong problem identification and creative problem-solving/resolution skills.
- Decision making, ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong ability to lead a team, to develop and manage departments effectively.
