As a Centreline Operator-Painter, you will be part of a team that supports Nova Scotia's 23,000-kilometer road network and 4,100 bridges. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from painting highway road lines to maintaining and repairing equipment.
About the OpportunityUnder the supervision of the Supervisor of Traffic Line Painting, you will perform a range of duties, including setting up and maintaining equipment, operating paint pumps and equipment, inspecting work for quality and conformance, and assisting with the maintenance and repairs of the truck.
Qualifications and ExperienceWe are looking for individuals with a strong customer service focus, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work well in a team. You will need to have a valid Class 3 driver's license with Air Brake Endorsement and experience in highway work, equipment maintenance, and traffic control. Training in Transportation of Dangerous Goods and Working in Confined Spaces is an asset.
Working ConditionsThis role involves extensive travel throughout the province and working in a variety of weather conditions. You will need to be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
