About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Client Relations and High Jewelry, Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences and driving business growth through strategic partnerships and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with top clients to drive new business opportunities and retain existing relationships.
  • Design and execute market strategies to create memorable in-store experiences that exceed client expectations.
  • Identify and capitalize on new opportunities to drive retail priorities and maximize ROI.
  • Host and entertain clients to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Partner with retail leaders to develop the skills of High Jewelry Sales Specialists.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships to create unique experiences for clients.
  • Develop and implement new concepts and event ideas to surprise and delight clients.
  • Manage charitable giving, client gifting, and in-store hospitality initiatives.
  • Oversee local budget and calendar of actions/events.
  • Provide competitive insights and location activation reports.
  • Lead and coach a developing team to success.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of event management experience.
  • High level of creativity and taste.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience in client relations/client-facing role.
  • Experience managing and coordinating teams.
  • Problem solver, solution oriented, and agile.
  • Team oriented with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed in Canada and the US.
  • Proficiency with client tracking systems, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook/email.
  • Authorization to work in Canada or the country where the position is based.
Preferred Qualifications
  • College/university degree.
  • Luxury industry experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
