Job Title: Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team at Foilcon. As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-scale Business Intelligence solutions using Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into Power BI solutions.
  • Develop and implement Power BI solutions, including data modeling, designing, development, and testing of reports.
  • Provide guidance and technical expertise for BI applications to other team members.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric in a hub-and-spoke model.
  • 2 years of experience with outlining policy processes and standard operating procedures related to Power BI projects in the context of hub-and-spoke model.
  • 5 years of experience with MS Power BI Desktop, MS Power BI Dataflows, MS Power BI Report Builder, MS Power Automate, Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, and VertiPaq Analyzer.
Deliverables:
  • Policy and process documentation.
  • Power BI proof-of-concepts and solutions to support Power BI governance in the context of hub-and-spoke model.
Knowledge Transfer:
  • The candidate will ensure full knowledge transfer of all technical and process-related work is provided to the Ontario Health team during and before the end of the engagement.
