Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Silkscreen Production Technician to join our team at GRAPHICS CANADA. This role is essential in the production of high-quality printed materials.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a related field.
Work Environment
  • Located in an urban area within a printing shop.
Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize specialized software to transform digitized images, ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Prepare and scan photographs for production.
  • Design and layout printed pages with precision.
  • Create stencil patterns and set type for printing processes.
  • Oversee project designs from conception to publication.
  • Digitize images and enhance them using advanced retouching systems.
  • Execute layout and page make-up based on provided conceptual mock-ups.
  • Produce computerized images and drawings tailored to client specifications.
