Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a critical role in providing client-centered care to children and adults in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop rehabilitation plans for clients with physical disabilities or impairments
  • Provide direct intervention, consultation, and education to clients, families, and caregivers
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and services
  • Participate in the education and training of other healthcare professionals
  • Exercise independent judgment and initiative in determining work priorities and methods
Requirements
  • Masters or Baccalaureate Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent entry-level requirement
  • Active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba
  • Eligible for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Outlook/Email
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional working relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions
  • Work in a variety of settings, including acute care, outpatient, long-term care, and community settings
  • May be required to work evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
