We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a critical role in providing client-centered care to children and adults in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and develop rehabilitation plans for clients with physical disabilities or impairments
- Provide direct intervention, consultation, and education to clients, families, and caregivers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and services
- Participate in the education and training of other healthcare professionals
- Exercise independent judgment and initiative in determining work priorities and methods
- Masters or Baccalaureate Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent entry-level requirement
- Active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba
- Eligible for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Outlook/Email
- Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional working relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Work in a variety of settings, including acute care, outpatient, long-term care, and community settings
- May be required to work evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
- Must be able to meet the physical and mental demands of the job
