About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estate Planning Specialist to join our team at National Bank Financial (NBF). As a key member of our client advice center, you will work closely with our estate planning specialists (lawyers and notaries) to provide expert advice to our clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in estate planning, probate, trusts, and administration of property of others. You will be responsible for drafting recommendations and providing advice to investment advisors and our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on estate planning, probate, trusts, and administration of property of others
  • Draft recommendations and provide advice to investment advisors and clients
  • Work closely with estate planning specialists (lawyers and notaries) to provide comprehensive advice
  • Manage complex files with tight deadlines in a constantly evolving environment
  • Maintain internal visibility and create strong interpersonal connections
Requirements
  • Member of the Chambre des Notaires du Québec or the Barreau
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • In-depth knowledge of estate planning concepts, probate, trusts, and administration of property of others
  • Strong legal writing skills
  • Rigorous, autonomous, organized, good spirit of synthesis
