Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the financial operations of multiple sites within our food manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial statements and compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
  • Develop and implement cost control measures to optimize plant operations.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process for the plants, working closely with site managers to develop realistic and achievable budgets.
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, highlighting key metrics and variances.
  • Manage internal and external audits, addressing any issues and implementing recommendations.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
  • Participate in long-term financial planning and capital investment projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience managing financial operations across multiple sites.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems; advanced Excel skills required.
