- Develop and implement cost control measures to optimize plant operations.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Lead the annual budgeting process for the plants, working closely with site managers to develop realistic and achievable budgets.
- Provide accurate and timely forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, highlighting key metrics and variances.
- Manage internal and external audits, addressing any issues and implementing recommendations.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Participate in long-term financial planning and capital investment projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience managing financial operations across multiple sites.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems; advanced Excel skills required.
