Key Responsibilities


• Directs the project team, formulates the project execution strategy, and supervises the management of project resources, finances, timelines, and scope. Ensures seamless project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to achieve all project objectives.

• Develops project documentation related to scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.

• Oversees project execution concerning scope, costs, timelines, resources, risk management, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards.

• Guarantees adherence to execution best practices and ABB policies throughout the project lifecycle.

• Monitors and regulates project advancement, resource utilization, financials, invoicing status, costs, expenses, revenues, and cash flow.

• Proactively identifies, assesses, quantifies, and manages/mitigates project risks, ensuring that all improvement opportunities are recognized and pursued.

• Manages all facets of Project Change Orders.

• Assists Procurement and Logistics in supplier negotiations, claims, and project modifications.

• Cultivates and maintains robust relationships with stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.

• Serves as the primary contact for the customer, enhancing customer relationships by delivering exceptional service throughout all project phases.

• Manages the project in accordance with agreed requirements, ensuring that all objectives are met and relevant guidelines are adhered to.

• Facilitates the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer.

• Adheres to PMO processes throughout project management phases and utilizes ABB execution tools and reporting guidelines.

• Ensures consistent application of contract and claims management in line with ABB policies and contractual agreements.

• Captures, evaluates, and disseminates lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.

• Guides, mentors, and develops the skills and knowledge of the project team.

• Supports local Sales and Tendering through early engagement in tenders.

• Participates in the continuous enhancement of Project Management processes, tools, and templates.

• Ensures compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications
  • 8 years of experience in project management involving medium complexity electrification projects.
  • Proven experience in managing project scope, financials, schedules, customers, and vendors/subcontractors, with strong communication, influencing, and coaching skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a solid understanding of electrical distribution systems – Low/Medium Voltage AC SwitchGear, MCCs, Transformers, Rectifiers, and Switchboards.
  • Familiarity with SAP, MS Projects, and MS Office applications.
  • PMP certification is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Fluency in French is required. Proficiency in English is necessary as this role will service internal and external clients from various regions.
