About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospital Director to lead our veterinary hospital in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hospital, ensuring the highest quality patient care and client service, and driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the hospital team, including veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Oversee the hospital's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director to develop and implement medical policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, referring veterinarians, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role in a veterinary hospital or healthcare organization
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability
  • Strong financial management and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
