Job Title: Long Haul Driver

DXB Logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation
  • Load and unload goods, operating and driving straight or articulated trucks
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in good working order
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the vehicle is in top condition
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Valid passport
  • Criminal record check
  • Medical exam
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel cross-border, internationally, and overnight
