Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Job Summary: DXB Logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Load and unload goods, and operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.

Requirements:

  • AZ class license.
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Valid passport.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Medical exam.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel cross-border, internationally, and for extended periods.

Work Environment: The work environment is physically demanding, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work overtime as required.
