We are seeking a skilled Fruit Farm Labourer to join our team at 981351 Ontario Inc. As a Fruit Farm Labourer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to fruit and vegetable farming, including harvesting, planting, and maintaining crops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Harvest crops, including fruits and vegetables, to ensure high quality and quantity.
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to promote healthy growth and development.
  • Clear fields of wood and stones to prepare for planting and harvesting.
  • Grade fruits and vegetables according to size, shape, color, and volume to fetch high prices in the market.
  • Perform weeding and other tasks to maintain crop health and prevent pests and diseases.
  • Write daily progress reports to track crop development and identify areas for improvement.
Work Environment:

Fruit Farm Labourers work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. The job requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in fruit and vegetable farming or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation.
  • Ability to work in a rural area with limited public transportation.
Working Conditions:

Fruit Farm Labourers work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure. The job requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Language and Hours:

The work language is English, and the work term is seasonal. The working hours are 40 to 60 hours per week.
