Responsibilities: As a Certified Journeyperson Automotive Technician at Kal Tire, your duties will include:
- Executing a variety of mechanical services, such as brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
- Guiding and mentoring apprentices, sharing your knowledge in a supportive environment.
- Collaborating with a skilled team on a diverse range of vehicles, from passenger cars to light trucks.
- Maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality in all tasks.
Qualifications:
- Certification as an Automotive Service Technician 310S.
- Valid driver's license.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignment.
- Proficient in inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, and repairs across various vehicle types.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to identify potential mechanical opportunities in collaboration with the Sales team.
- Capable of thriving in a physically demanding role, including heavy lifting and constant movement.
- Safety-conscious, adhering to PPE requirements and work protocols.
- Motivated with a positive attitude, fostering a respectful and supportive work environment.
