Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Samak Investments Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement
  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Supervise staff and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Train staff on new procedures and policies
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient stock levels
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant
  • Leading/instructing individuals to achieve team goals
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail is essential.
