Role Overview:

  • Oversee projects from initial concept through to final execution;

  • Engage in the management of extensive Landscape Architecture and interdisciplinary projects;
  • Craft innovative, sustainable, and technically sound designs;
  • Facilitate collaboration with various disciplines, suppliers, and stakeholders;

  • Conduct thorough site assessments to identify spatial, technical, strategic, and regulatory considerations;
  • Design diverse outdoor environments, taking into account human interaction, aesthetics, economic viability, and functionality;

  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and regulations;
  • Contribute to the development of service proposals and market strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or an equivalent qualification;
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of pertinent experience;
  • Registered member of AAPQ: Association des Architectes Paysagistes du Québec (mandatory);
  • Exceptional creativity with a strong ability to visualize in three dimensions;
  • A diverse portfolio showcasing artistic capabilities;
  • Solid technical knowledge in grading, drainage, materials, and construction techniques;
  • Understanding of project development methodologies;
  • Familiarity with construction practices;
  • Knowledge of building codes and industry standards;
  • Fluency in French with basic proficiency in English;
  • Expertise in Autocad 2023, SketchUp, MsProject, Office Suite, and Photoshop;
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively;
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle;
  • Familiarity with MeProject, Civil 3D, Revit, FormIt, Forma, Enscape, Lumion, 3D Studio Max, InDesign (considered an asset);
  • Knowledge in Urban Planning, Environmental Design, and Site Engineering (considered an asset).
