Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will engage in various essential tasks. We look forward to your unique contributions.

  • Deliver exceptional Athletic Therapy services to cater to the varied needs of both new and existing clients, fostering strong relationships with Club members.
  • Ensure that all Athletic Therapy presentations and fitness evaluations adhere to established protocols and standards.
  • Conduct Athletic Therapy sessions, maintaining client engagement while providing suggestions, motivation, and constructive feedback throughout the process.
  • Schedule initial Athletic Therapy consultations for new Club members promptly and ensure existing clients receive retests every three months.
  • Guarantee that training methods and techniques align with standardized practices, tailoring training plans to reflect the individual goals, limitations, and health considerations of each client.
  • Administer appropriate treatments based on clients' needs, objectives, and preferences, regularly evaluating and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Desired Qualifications:

We hope you can bring the following qualifications to our team:

  • A degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, Science, or a related discipline.
  • Certification as an Athletic Therapist through the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA) is mandatory. Additional certifications or workshops in health, wellness, and fitness are highly valued.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant Athletic Therapy experience is essential.
  • Experience in sales for over a year is considered an asset.
  • A comprehensive understanding of injuries, diseases, nutrition, and conditions affecting exercise performance is required, along with demonstrated knowledge of athletic therapy principles and practices for injury prevention, assessment, and treatment.
