Part Time Position OverviewCalian is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Primary Care Physician to join our dynamic team at CFB Gander in Newfoundland on a Part Time Basis. This position offers the unique opportunity to practice comprehensive and collaborative primary health care within a multidisciplinary setting, directly supporting the brave men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will provide a range of services that include primary care, occupational health, minor trauma management, disease prevention, health promotion, rehabilitation, and ongoing support services.

Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary medical care to patients with acute and chronic health conditions including referral to other health care providers when warranted.
- Deliver occupational health services such as, but not limited to:
- Referral of patients for participation in programs for the use of indicated personal protective devices – hearing conservation, respiratory protection program.
- Communicate with Senior Medical Authority on relevant clinical matters such as CF Spectrum of Care, complex patients requiring multidisciplinary intervention, individual operational readiness.
- Maintain patient medical information in Electronic Health Record and patient health records.
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland.
- Certification in Family Medicine with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP).
- Basic Life Support for Health Providers or CPR/AED Level C.
You will be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level.
Security Clearances- A security clearance and/or vulnerable sector screening might be required for this position.

- Weekday hours 7:30am – 4pm.
