Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director of the Project Management Office, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and project management expertise to facilitate the successful execution of multiple initiatives across eHealth's organizations. This role encompasses high-level support for large-scale projects, overseeing the process from initiation to final implementation. This includes leading cross-functional and multi-divisional project teams on initiatives involving personnel, processes, and technology that carry medium to high risk and complexity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of the project (or phase) throughout its entire lifecycle.
• Manage procurement processes, vendor relationships, partner interactions, and end-user expectations.
• Communicate project status updates to sponsors.
• Handle financial reporting and budget management.
• Organize and direct project work, including prioritizing tasks, providing regular performance feedback, and implementing necessary corrective actions.
• Supervise business analyst direct reports, offering guidance, coaching, and career development opportunities.
• Foster a productive and positive atmosphere for project staff that promotes innovation, teamwork, initiative, and embodies corporate values.
Experience & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management leadership or equivalent, with a proven track record of delivering large and complex projects in an IT environment while adhering to budget, timeline, and resource constraints.
• At least 3 years of experience in project procurement and vendor management.
• Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Post-secondary education from a University or Technical Institute in one of the following fields: Information Technology, Business Administration, or Health Sciences.
