About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Vancouver Pizza Kitchen (Kelowna). As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces are clean and sanitized at all times.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and portion food for service.
    • Package take-out food and ensure it is ready for customers.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Keep records of the quantities of food used.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
    Requirements
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Will train.
    • English language proficiency.
    • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
