About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at Subway. As a Food Service Team Member, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality food products are prepared and served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and cook food items to order, following Subway's quality and safety standards.
    • Operate kitchen equipment, such as ovens and dishwashers, to prepare and clean food and dishes.
    • Package and wrap food items for take-out and delivery.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Take customer orders and operate the electronic cash register to process transactions.
  • Store Maintenance
    • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the kitchen, dining area, and storage areas.
    • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed.
    • Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and employees.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve store goals and objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Previous experience in food service or a related field is an asset.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
