Position Overview

PAPA CONSTRUCTION LTD. is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Construction Laborer. This position involves a variety of tasks essential to the successful completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials efficiently.
  • Formwork and Scaffolding: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades.
  • Material Mixing: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assistance in Construction: Aid in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and assist in drilling and blasting rock.
  • Framing and Demolition: Help in framing houses, erecting walls, and demolishing buildings as required.
  • Site Maintenance: Clean and pile salvaged materials, remove rubble, and manage chemical spills.
  • Traffic Control: Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure safety.
Work Environment

This role is set in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, requiring manual dexterity and the ability to handle heavy loads. Overtime may be necessary to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.

Work Conditions

This position requires working 40 hours per week in a dynamic construction setting.
