We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at 2685645 Ontario Inc. Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain high standards.
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Team Management and Development
    • Lead a team of 5-10 staff, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and food preparers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Certifications and Qualifications
    • Hold a Food Safety Certificate and be bondable, with a basic security clearance.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physical demands.
    • Be able to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk, with a physically demanding role.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Have excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
    • Be a team player, with a client-focused approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
