You will be responsible for providing therapeutic interventions to enable clients to achieve optimum physical function and independence. Your expertise will be utilized to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a range of conditions, from acute injuries to chronic diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to patients in various settings, including acute care and outpatient clinics.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor students and junior staff members to promote professional growth and development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program.
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
  • Eligibility for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
  • Current AADL Authorizer preferred.
