About the Role:
As a Physiotherapist I with Alberta Health Services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our mixed service streams, including Acute Care and Outpatients. Your expertise will be essential in communicating and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic interventions to enable clients to achieve optimum physical function and independence
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation strategies in collaboration with patients and families
- Participate in interprofessional teams to build awareness, enrich supports, and engage in quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to quality improvement and professional community development through peer mentoring and student supervision
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program
- Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
- Eligibility for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current AADL Authorizer
