Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Line Installer to join our team at Jay-Smart Technologies Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining aerial and underground telephone equipment, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our communication networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including poles, ladders, and other support structures.
  • Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Splice, join, and connect wires to ensure seamless communication flow.
  • Operate jackhammers and drills to break up pavement and access underground equipment.
  • Analyze test results and instrument readings to identify and resolve network issues.
  • Communicate effectively with other workers to coordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a regular 35-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
