Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Rexall Pharmacy Group ULC. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring excellence in patient care, customer service, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure accurate process flow related to patient records retention
- Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions
- Evaluate legality, interpret, and input all prescriptions, labels, and consent forms to ensure patient information is up-to-date and in the pharmacy's computer system
- Complete documentation, including third-party management and reconciliation, patient files, prescriptions, printing reports, and invoices
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and dispensary
- Support the pharmacy team with inventory management
- Completed a Pharmacy Technician Diploma or Bridging program from an accredited College
- Successful completion of the PEBC Qualifying exam
- Membership in good standing with the provincial College of Pharmacists
- 1 year continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment
- Proficient computer knowledge and skills; Windows proficiency required
