Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our Global Wealth Asset Management (GWAM) - Technology Team at Manulife. As a key member of our Agile team, you will be responsible for providing application support, deployment, business requirement gathering, and data analysis to ensure seamless solutions that meet Manulife standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as daily Scrum Master to facilitate team collaboration and progress tracking.
- Provide Level 2 support for BAU/KLO work and contribute to the maintenance of application documentation.
- Monitor batch cycle loads, including daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly processes, to ensure timely and accurate data processing.
- Engage with business stakeholders to request, load, and proof data updates in production and lower environments.
- Support and triage production incidents, as needed, to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Perform release management for supported applications to ensure smooth deployment and minimal disruption.
- Contribute to the Scrum team to provide development support, including code improvements, bug fixing, and reduction of 'Toil'.
- Work during Eastern Standard Time to support daily batch processing and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: At least two years of Information Technology experience or application support experience.
- Hybrid Work Arrangement: Ability to work onsite and from home, dependent on established RTO guidelines by Manulife.
- Shift Schedule: Amenability to work on assigned schedules, including PH Night Shift - Rotating.
- Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:
- Prior experience or understanding of Cloud infrastructure.
- Pipeline execution with DR management.
- Experience in Agile.
- Experience with Azure.
- Experience with GitHub.
- Experience with SNOW and JIRA.
- Eastern Standard Time Support.
- Understanding of Java is preferred.
