About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Executive Officer to lead Newmarket Credit Union to success. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic business plan that drives growth and excellence in the credit union movement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to Newmarket Credit Union, ensuring the organization remains a prime example of best practice within the credit union movement.
  • Performance Management: Continuously review and improve overall performance, ensuring ongoing success and achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of governance and risk management.
  • Lending Services: Provide an efficient and effective lending service to members, meeting their financial needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Review and update all policy and procedural guidance, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar management role, with a proven track record of designing, planning, and implementing strategic business plans.
  • Technical Skills: Experience of using computerized packages for management purposes, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
