Job Title: Chief Executive Officer - Newmarket Credit Union

Newmarket Credit Union Limited is a progressive community-based credit union based in the heart of Ireland, serving over 5,600 members with assets exceeding €57 million. We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Chief Executive Officer to lead our organization towards excellence in the credit union movement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic business plan to drive Newmarket Credit Union's growth and success.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain a strong reputation within the credit union sector.
  • Provide exceptional leadership and direction to the management team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, ensuring Newmarket Credit Union remains a leader in the credit union movement.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar management role, with a proven track record of success in the credit union sector.
  • Should possess strong IT skills, with experience in using computerized packages for management purposes.
  • Will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
